Braden Evans Duo
Braden Evans is a singer/songwriter from Sydney, Australia.
Drawing influences from bands with feel good grooves, riffs and catchy melodies such as
The Black Keys, Tame Impala and Oasis.
The duo is made up of Anthony Cianci on drums and Braden Evans on guitar and vocals.
The two met while working on live shows for Evans' solo, singer/songwriter material.
They have since developed a strong musical chemistry that has led them to pursue the rock n' roll
invariably bubbling beneath the surface since their first rehearsal.
No stranger to the stage, Evans spent the early-mid 2000's fronting hard rock outfit Rivers-End, receiving radio play
from Triple M and Triple J, Rivers-end went on to perform with a slew of great bands
including; The Screaming Jets, Birds of Tokyo and Gyroscope.
A bold move in 2006, Evans sold all his electric guitars, amps and effects to pick up an acoustic guitar and focus heavily
on developing his song craft and vocal capabilities. Which proved to be extremely beneficial, affording him opportunities
to play at some renowned venues like; The Enmore Theatre and ANZ stadium,
with such Rock giants as Aerosmith, Van Halen, Billy Joel and Blood, Sweat & Tears.
Cianci has gained invaluable experience performing with members of Santana
as well as teaming up with Myron Dove in the Linzi O Band rhythm section.
Also a touring drum tech for some of the worlds finest drummers, including
most recently, Steve Gadd. Who is widely regarded to be the worlds number one drummer.
In the lead up to the release of Evans' forthcoming EP, the duo have been playing a long list of rock n' roll classics around Sydney.
With their high energy and engaging stage personalities they ensure everyone is a participant
and leaves the show extremely satisfied, and with a great big smile on their face.
